What to Expect When you Choose IPT

What should I expect when being treated?

IPT is administered in the same manner as high dose chemotherapy—the patient rests in a comfortable recliner while the chemotherapeutic agent is received through an IV. The procedure takes about 2 hours. The number and frequency of treatments vary with each patient. IPT is not for everyone. For those patients who remain firm in refusing all conventional forms of medical cancer care, IPT is the best possible alternative.
